Apitherapy without bees is not possible. Bee products without beekeepers is also not possible… If you really want to learn apitherapy, you need to learn first how to keep your bees, or at least to understand very well the bee’s life and her relationship with our Mother Nature and with us, poor, and so often ill people…

Medicinal beekeeping is a more elaborate form of beekeeping having as main goals to get top quality bee products to be used in medicine.

In order to understand and practice medicinal beekeeping, you must, first of all, have a strong base on normal beekeeping.

So, you need first of all to contact your closest beekeeping club (association), then start learning as much as possible on how we humans can keep bees for health purposes.

Thanks a lot. I am thinking about venturing into medicinal beekeeping. I have been a beekeeper for years now. I also have some beginner workshops and education sessions for people who are just starting off. But I was still amazed that I never knew about all the medicinal possibilities and potential that comes from bees. So hoping to learn more about it this season and explore some potential opportunities!

You need to learn how to collect: a) clean beehive products; b) products very rich in certain active components, like poliphenols, vitamins or enzymes...
